The popular YouTuber, Ishowspeed celebrates his 21st birthday while on tour in Nigeria. He has been visiting some African countries this year because of the AFCON and he has been meeting up with a lot of his favourite African celebrities.

Ishowspeed is an American YouTube video game streamer who started video gaming streaming before becoming a global online streamer. He has been visiting a lot countries doing his online streaming and growing his audience massively.

The YouTuber has been on visiting a lot of countries since last year and this year he has been visiting Africa because of the AFCON which took place in Morocco. During the AFCON final he met the legendary Cameroonian mixed martial artist, Francis Ngannou. While meeting with Francis he challenged Francis for a fight and Francis only gave him a little punch on the stomach that made him scream out loud.

While at the AFCON he met with some of the AFCON officials and some of the top players of the AFCON who also plays for the European football team. He met with Alex Iwobi and a whole lot of other African players who plays for the European team.

After his visit in Morocco for the AFCON he headed to Nigeria where he went to celebrate his 21st birthday. When he arrived Nigeria he was welcomed with open arms. While still in Nigeria he met with a lot of Nigerian celebrities such Jarvis, Peller, Egungun of Lagos, OGB Recent and some other Nigerian celebrities. He has been visiting the streets and local markets of Lagos, he has also been visiting various business places in the streets of Lagos meeting and greeting Nigerians.

He has been hanging out with a lot of Nigerians some whom are gym instructors, market women and local content creators. Ishowspeed also video chatted one of Nigeria’s biggest afrobeat musician, Davido who is currently not in Nigeria and Davido was glad to speak with him and promised him they will meet up in the United States.

According to Ishowspeed, he has always wanted to visit Nigeria after hearing a lot of wonderful news about Nigeria when his friend and colleague Kai Cenat visited Nigeria. He also said that during his ancestry tests he has some percentage of Nigerian bloodline. He said he hears so many beautiful things about Nigeria and has also wanted to visit Nigeria and spend time with the amazing people of Nigeria. While visiting Nigeria he was putting on the number 17 Nigerian jersey and when he was asked why choosing number 17 instead of his favourite number 7, he said its because his favourite Nigerian football player is Alex Iwobi.

Ishowspeed has been having a lot fun in his visit to Nigeria, Nigerians had to make him a birthday cake to celebrate him and thank him for coming to celebrate his 21st birthday with them. He has been followed around the streets of Lagos by crowd of Nigerians hailing and celebrating him, some people from the crowd were also demanding some cash from him which he did not understand until one of his Nigerian friend had to explain to him what they were saying. Ishowspeed said that this he was surprised to see such amount of people rushing to him asking for money, saying that he never expected it.

When he went into some of the shops in the streets of Lagos, the shop owners did not recognise him as they were elderly people who do not know him or livestream his contents on YouTube. One of the elderly women was asking him if he was a Nigerian that he looks like a Nigerian then Ishowspeed stood and started talking with the woman asking her if he really looked like a Nigerian but the woman said yes in looks but he does not talk like a Nigerian then Ishowspeed laughed and said,

“No ma’am I’m not a Nigerian but I love Nigeria, I’m an American and a YouTube streamer, do you know what YouTube is? It’s a platform where you watch videos, movies and also do streaming.”

Ishowspeed hugged her and she told him thank you for visiting us . Then Ishowspeed went out to continue his visit with some of the Nigerians who were outside waiting to take pictures and videos with him.

While Ishowspeed was visiting some beautiful places in Lagos, he was entertained by the Nigerian robotic girl content creator Jarvis who showed off her robot behaviour and sang a birthday song for him. Ishowspeed was happy to meet Jarvis as he said he has not seen a human act so accurate like a robot before. One of the emotional moments was when he interacted with school children who were coming back home from school and after interacting with them they sang a birthday song for him. He also met with skaters of Lagos and skated with them.

Ishowspeed also tried out some Nigerian food such as the soup and fufu and the Nigerian Jollof rice and he said they were amazing meals and wished he could have some more when goes back to America.
