A Nigerian man, Femi Adeola has been caught and arrested for stealing a generator in Sagamu community Ogun state. He has been the people’s nightmare in his community and everyone has been wondering who has been stealing from them on a daily basis without any traces.

Some members of the community said that they have been complaining about stolen items in the community and a lot of times these items were stolen was at night time. They said that the king of the community has raised some security groups to guard the community and catch the person or people stealing the people’s items but every effort made to catch the person or people stealing these things has been unsuccessful.

An elderly woman from the community said that she was robbed of her motorcycle which she uses for going to work. She further said that the motorcycle was parked in front of her house but one morning she came out and realised it has been stolen, she raised alarm about it and a search team was raised immediately to search for the motorcycle but it was not seen. She also said that she involved the local police to help her track her motorcycle and the thief but all efforts to track it down was unsuccessful.

An elderly man in the community complained about his motorcycle which he bought newly and got stolen. He said that he raised alarm about the situation and ran to the king and his cabinet members to help him track down the culprit and get back his motorcycle. The king promised him that the culprit will be found and his motorcycle will be found but every effort to recover these stolen items. The king tried involving the local police to help the community get the culprit disturbing the community but all efforts to catch the culprit failed. The police also said that they needed a few villagers to help them search for the culprit f day mç

Another elderly woman also complained about her older son’s bicycle which was stolen few days after his son bought it. She said a search team was raised when she raised alarm about the stolen bicycle, even the king in the community helped send extra search team to trace the bicycle but it was not found. She cried out that the bicycle was expensive and a brand new one which her son bought for going to work and it was so frustrating for her son knowing that the expensive bicycle he bought for going to work has been stolen and cannot be found again.

The Sagamu community has been under fear as nobody knows who would be next victim of a stolen property. The stolen items got so extreme that the king of the community had to start mounting street lights to enable security personnel see at night and track down anyone running away with any item at night. The security personnel in the community also asked for torch lights for flashing distance lights when pursuing anyone at night and the king and his cabinet members provided them.

A teenage boy in the community told news agency that one night he came outside to bring in his school uniform which was hanging outside then he saw middle aged man carrying a bicycle over his head and running, he tried to get the face of the man but it was too dark to get his face. The local police have tried to make him draw the face he saw but he said it was hard because he didn’t see the face very well. So it was clear that the person causing the damages in the community is just one man who is middle aged.

After the mounting of the street security lights recruitment of new security personnel, everyone in the community stayed at alert for the next strike of robbery. On that glorious night at about 11pm the motion street lights started switching off and on, the security personnel swinged into action and Pursue the person. The man was already going to steal a generator from an elderly woman then the security operative caught him. When he was unmasked it was a member of the community, Mr Femi Adeola. He is 46 years old and also one the respected men in the community because of his contribution to building a school classrooms in the community.

He was brought to the king for questioning, after serious questioning he confessed that he has been the one stealing all the missen items in the community and he sold them the immediately the next day because he always has his buyers waiting so that as soon as he brings the goods they pay him then he leaves.

The king later handed him over to the local police, nobody believed that Mr Femi Adeola has been the one causing the havoc in the community.
